Joy (Karen) Seunarine is a dynamic, enthusiastic body worker trained in several important forms of Massage Therapy, including CranioSacral, Integrative Manual Therapy as well as Process Accupressure. An understanding of the body informs her use of body signals, pulses and rhythms to guide treatment. This allows the inherent wisdom of the body to find its way to homeostasis and balance.
For each person, all of life's incidents from birth to the present, for example, accidents, falls, sports injuries affect one physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually and energetically. Joy's own personal journey has propelled her lifelong pursuit of better understanding and approachs to pain. This infuses her treatments with empathy, warmth and compassion.
The client can expect a companion on the journey to self-understanding, growth and becoming an integrated whole as symptoms decrease and the physical body heals. Joy leads workshops, and is an active member of a community of health professionals. She is constantly on the lookout for new learning opportunities to enable her to provide the most up-to-date treatments to her clients.
